Texas WR Matthew Golden Has Declared for the NFL Draft 🤘

Texas Longhorns wide receiver Matthew Golden has announced his decision to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, forgoing his remaining college eligibility.

 

Golden, who transferred to Texas from the University of Houston before the 2024 season, made a significant impact during his time with the Longhorns. In the 2024 season, he led the team with 58 receptions for 987 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 17 yards per catch.

Prior to his tenure at Texas, Golden showcased his talents at Houston, recording 76 receptions for 988 yards and 13 touchdowns over two seasons.

 

Golden’s decision to declare for the NFL Draft adds him to the growing list of Longhorns entering the professional ranks,  including wide receiver Isaiah Bond and defensive back Andrew Mukuba.

 

As the NFL Draft approaches, Golden is projected to be a second or third-round pick, bringing his collegiate success and playmaking abilities to the next level.
