The Raiders might be unable to reject the ideal Davante Adams trade package that the Ravens have to offer.

Ravens might have the perfect Davante Adams trade package the Raiders couldn’t refuse

We are only four and a half weeks into the season, and already there are some significant trade rumors and whispers surfacing. Even though the deadline is several weeks away, the Baltimore Ravens might be able to come home with a shiny, new toy.

Tuesday morning started out with some of those rumors which have been prevalent over the last several months; specifically, rumors around star wide receiver Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders.

The big news came when those rumors quickly went from a simple social media fiasco to a firm trade request by the veteran wideout.

For a team like the Ravens, coming off a dominant win over the Buffalo Bills and right back into the argument as one of the league’s elite teams, making a move to get an elite wide receiver is exactly what could finally propel them to a Super Bowl behind the arm and legs of Lamar Jackson.

Reports came out about the Raiders’ likely asking price for Adams and, if you’re the Ravens, there is no way you can refuse entering this conversation. Fortunately, there is an easily-assembled trade package Baltimore could put together.

Trade package between the Ravens and Raiders that lands Davante Adams in Baltimore

For those who might not be keeping up, the Ravens’ run game is tops in the league. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, either, with Derrick Henry looking like his vintage self and Jackson being the best dual-threat quarterback in football

But, Justice Hill has also been a huge factor within the offense and looks like the perfect complimentary back. So, where does that leave a guy like Keaton Mitchell who is now almost back from a season-ending injury in his rookie year?

Mitchell is an electric back, but the Ravens’ back field is set right now with Henry and Hill. If the Raiders set Adams’ price at a second rounder plus “additional compensation,” then look no further.

The Raiders are a mess in the back field. Between Zamir White, Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah, Vegas has no clear threat. Adding a young back like Mitchell could be a catalyst for their offense going forward.

It would be difficult to lose the explosiveness of Mitchell, but in order to land a future Hall of Fame wide receiver still in his prime

The Ravens give up what will likely be a late second rounder in 2025, plus Mitchell, to finally give Jackson an alpha wide receiver. That seems too good to be true for Baltimore, but it’s also exactly what Las Vegas is asking for.

If I’m Eric DeCosta, the phone should already be in-hand. This is the type of situation that warrants immediate action. Go get it done, Baltimore.
