Manchester United have officially completed the signing of Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP in what is set to be one of the club’s most significant moves of the summer transfer window. The 26-year-old arrives at Old Trafford after an outstanding season in Portugal, where he netted 29 goals and provided 10 assists in the Primeira Liga, firmly establishing himself as one of Europe’s most in-form forwards.
The deal, reportedly worth around €70 million including add-ons, signals United’s intent to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
