Breaking news: Will Smith was detained as a suspect
Will Smith’s ‘guards take down a trespasser at his LA home’ until police make arrest… 3 months after wife Jada Pinkett Smith scared off intruders
Months after his wife’s home was almost burglarized, Will Smith’s guards took down a trespasser on his property.
The Academy Award winner, 55, was not home last Wednesday when police arrested Robert Ogden, 37, after he found his way onto the grounds, according to TMZ.
LA County Sheriff’s Department responded to two calls from Smith’s home regarding the intruder.
The first call reported a suspicious man lurking around the gate, claiming to be looking for someone who doesn’t live there.
Security told the man to leave, and he was gone before deputies could arrive.

Ogden returned shortly after and made it past the gate, but Smith’s guards subdued him before he could reach the home.
The guards waited for police, who arrested Ogden on a misdemeanor charge.
Police reportedly could not release him without bail before seeing a judge as they believed he would return to the residence.
Earlier this year, Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith scared intruders away from her own LA home, TMZ reported.
Two men in hoodies reportedly climbed onto the actress’ balcony in February, thinking nobody was home.
The intruders fled when Jada, 52, saw them, and they were long gone by the time police arrived.
It’s unclear whether Will and Jada were the targets of their respective intruders or if their ritzy homes were chosen at random.
In October, Jada revealed that she and Will ‘live separately’ and are ‘still figuring it out’ after separating in 2016.
‘We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together,’ she explained. ‘We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like.’

As the details of their marriage and non-monogamous lifestyle have become public in recent years, Jada said they were ‘just exhausted with trying’ to live under the same roof.
Jada told the Mail on Sunday’s You Magazine that their relationship improved after the infamous slap incident in which Will hit Chris Rock on-stage while the comedian hosted the 2022 Academy Awards
Although Will was subsequently banned from all Academy events for the next decade, Jada said ‘so many positive things came after it.’
‘That moment of the s*** hitting the fan is when you see where you really are,’ she added.
‘After all those years trying to figure out if I would leave Will’s side, it took that slap for me to see I will never leave him,’ explained Jada. ‘Who knows where our relationship would be if that hadn’t happened?’
Will and Jada tied the knot in 1997, and they share son Jaden Smith, 25, and Willow Smith, 23. Will also shares son Trey Smith, 31, with ex-wife Sheree Zampino.
